She is no longer the girl who endured systems built to contain her, nor the wanderer simply learning how to survive their collapse. The years have stripped illusion from her. What remains is clarity. Hard-earned. Dangerous...

CHARACTERS BOOK III: THE DRIFT

CHARACTERS BOOK III: THE DRIFT BOOK I CHARACTERS BOOK II CHARACTERS BOOK IV CHARACTERS WANT TO KNOW MORE? UNA In The Drift, Una is no longer the child who watched systems close in around her. WEATHER & MICROCLIMATES

FIELD GUIDE TO POST-COLLAPSE ATMOSPHERICS Field Guide Civilian Black Ops Classified Weather in this world is not just background. It is pressure. Almost an antagonist.Climate did not collapse evenly. It fractured. What began as anomaly became pattern. What felt like weather became jurisdiction. Across Montreal and beyond, the air no longer behaves as background. It concentrates. It isolates. It...

CREATURES

CREATURES APPEARANCES Across the four books of the Montreal series, the creatures are not random horrors, they are symptoms. Some crawl from water long forgotten by sunlight. Some bloom quietly in stone. Some move in air thick with ash and memory. Others are almost human, until they are not. Each one reflects the system that shaped it: pressure made flesh, adaptation turned predatory, survival...

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Stéphane Roy is a lifelong reader and writer with a deep love for science fiction, apocalyptic worlds, and tightly constructed mysteries. This is his first novel. He lives in the Yukon with his dog and his aquarium, where long winters, silence, and wide, sometimes glowing, skies leave plenty of room for imagining the end of the world, and what might come after it. He is also waiting, with cautious optimism, for the aliens to finally reveal themselves and straighten us all out.
