A dystopian novel series set in post-nuclear Canada

Post-Apocalyptic Fiction

Post-Apocalyptic Fiction explores what remains after collapse — when cities fracture, institutions harden, and survival becomes both physical and moral. These stories unfold in the aftermath of nuclear war, ecological disaster, systemic failure, or engineered control, following characters who navigate scarcity, power structures, shifting environments, and the fragile persistence of memory.

Set in ruined metropolises, isolated settlements, hostile microclimates, and reclaimed territories, post-apocalyptic narratives examine how societies reorganize under pressure. They question authority, adaptation, resilience, and the cost of order in a broken world. From intimate survival dramas to large-scale institutional dystopias, this genre confronts what humanity becomes when the systems meant to protect it have collapsed — or calcified into something far more dangerous.

Explore novels and stories that blend survival, resistance, ecological tension, and speculative world-building in landscapes reshaped by catastrophe.

A dystopian novel series set in post-nuclear Canada

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Stéphane Roy is a lifelong reader and writer with a deep love for science fiction, apocalyptic worlds, and tightly constructed mysteries. This is his first novel. He lives in the Yukon with his dog and his aquarium, where long winters, silence, and wide, sometimes glowing, skies leave plenty of room for imagining the end of the world, and what might come after it. He is also waiting, with cautious optimism, for the aliens to finally reveal themselves and straighten us all out.
