A MARI USQUE AD MARE: STORIES ACROSS CANADA

A Mari usque ad Mare follows the years after the Light through dozens of interconnected stories set across Canada and one in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon. From isolated Arctic communities to the Atlantic coast, from collapsing cities to forgotten highways and remote settlements, each tale reveals how ordinary people confront the same catastrophe in radically different ways.
Together, these narratives form a living mosaic of a country breaking apart, adapting, and beginning to rebuild, showing that while every community experiences the end of the world differently, they all become part of the same larger history.
A MARI USQUE AD MARE CYCLE I

We tried to break down each cycle with 2 novels set in the eastern province and/or territory and 2 in western province and/or territories.
A MARI USQUE AD MARE CYCLE II

Every novel is connected to the overall universe, be it via other novels themselves or through interconnected short stories. What you read in one story can pop back later, sometimes years, in another story. Each cycle is linked.
While the west deals with various incarnations of both internal and external war. In the east, this cycle deals with the water ways.
A MARI USQUE AD MARE CYCLE III

Except for few exceptions, most characters interact over time and meet, either in their own province or territory, or sometimes across the entire country.
A MARI USQUE AD MARE CYCLE IV
CYCLE IV is also the Dominion of Damnation arc… It has its own page and share the theme all across the country. The main thematic is stronger than the “across Canada from one sea to the other thematic” but both apply to those books. They are a completely different vibe, a bit like the Montreal bookends series.
It is a series within the series.
A MARI USQUE AD MARE CYCLE V

A terrifyingly brutal story set in New Brunswick, the Shepherds migrating from all corners of the country towards Montreal, Cole encountering his homonym, James the Carver and Marvin Robinson, all comparing note about the Mycelium and coming ot the exact same conclusion: Time to head out east… And on PEI, a pre-Light already mutated potato called the Babylon is perhaps the solution that will save the island from starvation, but only if Greg Mckintosh can keep some greedy paws away long enough to give the tubercule a chance…
A Mari usque ad Mare Cycle VI

These four novels wrap up all the events set in motion in Dominion of Damnation and set the stage for the grand finale in the second Montreal Bookend.
