READING ORDER FOR WARRIORS OF THE LAST DAYS

Warriors of the Last Days is the umbrella title for a multi-city dystopian post-apocalyptic novel series saga, each city telling a self-contained story within a larger Canadian post-apocalyptic universe..

Each sub-series takes place in a different Canadian city, exploring how that location has evolved under collapse, adaptation, and systemic control.

The first city in the series is Montreal. Additional cities will be introduced over time and added to the website as distinct categories.

Each city forms its own narrative arc, told through one to four novels, with interstitial short stories released between books to bridge events, deepen characters, and expand the setting.

The short stories are not required reading to enjoy the novels. They are offered exclusively to newsletter subscribers ahead of each book’s release and will later be compiled in reading order within the Montreal Tetralogy Bundle Collection, scheduled for release in 2027.

The following reading order is the best way to enjoy the story if you want to also incorporate the short stories to complete your visit of the Warriors of the Last Days universe.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Stéphane Roy is a lifelong reader and writer with a deep love for science fiction, apocalyptic worlds, and tightly constructed mysteries. This is his first novel. He lives in the Yukon with his dog and his aquarium, where long winters, silence, and wide, sometimes glowing, skies leave plenty of room for imagining the end of the world, and what might come after it. He is also waiting, with cautious optimism, for the aliens to finally reveal themselves and straighten us all out.
