The Spark Trailer

Watch the official trailer for the dystopian systems-fiction novel THE SPARK set in post-apocalyptic Montreal. This is the conclusion of the first Warriors of the Last Days series.

THE SPARK TRAILER

The official teaser trailer for The Spark, Book IV of Warriors of the Last Days, marks a turning point in the dystopian systems-fiction tetralogy.

The first three books pulled back the curtain: The Refusal mapped the bars of the cage, Exodus showed how far the fall could stretch, The Drift proved even direction was a lie.

Now, The Spark trailer asks the only question that remains: What happens when the match strikes?

Book IV of Warriors of the Last Days doesn’t just break the world: it forces you to watch what rises from the wreckage. Institutions? Shattered. Ecosystems? Rewritten by force. Survival? No longer a reflex, but a blade you choose to wield.

Fire doesn’t ask permission. It doesn’t explain. It reveals. And in its light, every system built on control is forced to show its teeth.

This isn’t a climax. It’s a reckoning. The ledgers are open. The debts are called. What was endured must now be answered. What was written must now be burned.

The Spark Trailer is your warning: The moment for hesitation has passed. What comes next isn’t a choice, it’s a cost.

ABOUT THE BOOK

The walls have cracked. The waiting is over. What comes now is fire.

In this final chapter of Warriors of the Last Days, power no longer lurks in shadows or dissolves into the air. It gathers. The machines and structures that once hummed in the background, unseen, now bare their teeth. The pressure, built across rivers, mountains, and storms, has finally found its spark.

Two figures stand before a ruined Montreal Olympic Stadium glowing with purple energy in a post-apocalyptic setting.

Loyalties harden or shatter.
Masks fall away, and what’s left isn’t just a name or a role, but a stance.
Silence, once a refuge, has become a debt. And the past isn’t just remembered, it’s fought over.

The story stays true to its roots: tension over spectacle, weight over noise. But the stakes are no longer whispered.

They are screamed.

As drift replaces direction, resistance faces its most dangerous question: how do you confront systems that no longer appear centralized?

Fire doesn’t just burn. It reveals. It forces the question that can’t be avoided:
When the world tightens its fist, what are you willing to burn to pry it open?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Stéphane Roy is a lifelong reader and writer with a deep love for science fiction, apocalyptic worlds, and tightly constructed mysteries. This is his first novel. He lives in the Yukon with his dog and his aquarium, where long winters, silence, and wide, sometimes glowing, skies leave plenty of room for imagining the end of the world, and what might come after it. He is also waiting, with cautious optimism, for the aliens to finally reveal themselves and straighten us all out.
