Across the four books of the Montreal series, the creatures are not random horrors, they are symptoms.

Step into each volume to discover the specific creatures that inhabit its terrain and the logic that brought them into being.

Some crawl from water long forgotten by sunlight. Some bloom quietly in stone. Some move in air thick with ash and memory.

Others are almost human, until they are not. Each one reflects the system that shaped it: pressure made flesh, adaptation turned predatory, survival refined past empathy.

They are born of contamination, of neglect, of optimization pushed too far. They do not exist merely to threaten. They expose.

Every encounter forces a question about what has changed and what was always there.

In 2027, we will be moving out of Montreal and introduce new creatures and biologies outside of that city. From the French islands of St-Pierre and Miquelon, via Saskatoon, Bath, Ontario and Dawson City in Yukon, you will witness an entirely new set of creatures.

We will soon. also create a page for the creatures introduced in our various short stories, set all across the country.

We do a lot of research on the biology and the behaviour of the creatures we introduce in the world of Warriors of the Last Days to insure, despite their often outlandish size and nature, that they are believable and realistic (within the boundaries of the rules of our little world, of course).

This page will gather them by book: the things that hunt, the things that wait, the things that whisper through corridors and under highways.
